Salcininku Jano Sniadeckio gimnazija is one of the largest schools in Shalchininkai municipality. It provides primary & secondary education for approximately 770 students who come from a diverse range of backgrounds from Salchininkai town and villages around Salchininkai. Approximately 85 caring and experienced teachers create educational environment in 40 well equipped classrooms. The school possesses a well-resourced library, canteen, sport and event halls, school park, ethnographic cottage, playground. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities like various sport sections, art classes, theatre rehearsals, folk songs and dances groups, pop music choir, as well as participation in the life of one of the four scout units. The graduates of the school go on to study at a wide variety of colleges and universities both domestically and internationally.
